Humans of Grand Valley (HOGV) is a human interest project inspired by Brandon Stanton's project, Humans of New York. The goal is to paint a picture of Grand Valley State University through portraits and quotes of the individuals that make up the community.

 

HOGV is a way to increase the sense of community on campus. Technology greatly impacts and interferes with the way students and faculty/staff communicate with each other. Follow HOGV on Facebook, Instagram and this website to learn about those people who are sitting next to you in class or on the bus. Learn their story.

 

 HOGV was started for a class project but continued to grow long after the class ended. HOGV aims to show the school in a truthful and positive light however it is not an official promotion for the school. The project has been acknowledged by the Frederik Meijer Honors College as a student initiative and most recently as a student organization.
